SAFe ® Practice Consultant (SPC)

Overview

The Implementing SAFe (SPC) course is an advanced, four-day instructor-led program that prepares professionals to become certified SAFe Practice Consultants (SPCs) — leaders qualified to teach SAFe courses, coach enterprise transformations, and guide agile implementation across complex organizations.

Through practical exercises, participants learn to identify value streams, launch Agile Release Trains (ARTs), implement lean portfolio management, and drive organizational agility through SAFe adoption. Prerequisites

While no mandatory prerequisites exist, it is recommended that participants complete:

• SAFe for Teams (SP)

• Leading SAFe (SA)

• Additionally, prior experience in agile coaching, consulting, or leading SAFe roles (such as RTE or Product Manager) is beneficial for success in this course.

• Format: Multiple-choice, closed-book, online exam

• Number of Questions: 60

• Duration: Timed (as per SAFe guidelines)

• Attempts: Includes an unlimited practice test with detailed coaching feedback

• Passing Score: As per Scaled Agile’s current SPC standards
