Overview

The SAFe for Teams (SP) course is a foundational-level certification program designed for professionals who want to gain the knowledge and practical skills to work effectively within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe®) environment. This training prepares participants to become productive members of an Agile Release Train (ART) by learning how to collaborate with other teams, participate in PI (Program Increment) Planning, execute iterations, and continuously deliver value.

Through intensive, instructor-led sessions, participants gain a comprehensive understanding of Lean-Agile principles, team collaboration, and enterprise-level alignment, equipping them to perform efficiently in a scaled agile setting. Prerequisites

Gain a deep understanding of how Agile Teams collaborate within an ART to deliver consistent value. Learn how ARTs align multiple teams towards common goals and outcomes through shared planning and synchronization.

2. Executing Iterations and PI Planning – 30%
Develop the ability to plan and execute iterations within the cadence of the ART. Learn to estimate, plan sprints, manage dependencies, and coordinate deliverables across teams during PI Planning sessions.

3. Cross-Team Collaboration and Communication – 20%
Understand synchronization points, collaboration mechanisms, and communication structures that align multiple Agile Teams. Build confidence in working across roles to ensure clarity, focus, and shared accountability.

4. Applying Lean-Agile Principles – 25%
Explore the core Lean-Agile mindset, including flow, continuous improvement, customer-centricity, and value-driven delivery. Learn to apply these principles in day-to-day work for better agility and performance.
