The PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)® credential formally recognizes expertise in applying agile practices, tools, and techniques in project environments.

Prerequisites

Education: Secondary degree (high school diploma, associate’s degree, or global equivalent)

General project experience: 12 months working on project teams within the last 5 years (waived if holding PMP® or PgMP®)

Agile project experience: Minimum 8 months on agile teams in the last 3 years

Training: At least 21 contact hours (accepted until March 2025) or 28 hours of formal training in agile practices covering frameworks, principles, and methodologies
